It is almost that time of the year when some managers are counting down to a peaceful winter, while others are counting the days until their winter crowd arrives. There are many guests that will not take the time to write a review until they stayed in a park where it took them an hour to level, or they were never able to level. Put yourself in their shoes. They got up at six to hit the road early to avoid town traffic. The sun soon made everything hot including their RV. Before your park starts filling with traffic, trim the trees for safety as well as for protecting the RV Units that trust you with their big investment and home.
Parks along the southern coast and near tornado alley in the midwest, know exactly what to do when a bad storm heads their way. However, many guests from other states are not aware of potential warnings. They rarely read the local newspaper, and watch only satellite television featuring far away network channels.
December is a slow month for some but could be a great time to visit some other parks around your region, state or the country. Checking other parks always stimulates new ideas for your resort.
